Coach Blair
Advanced Voice, Artist Development, Performance, Voice Acting and Theatre
Blair Clark is one of the top vocal coaches in the Midwest and started coaching in 2002 at the Performing Arts Center in Carmel, Indiana. Former owner of Midwest School of Voice and current Owner of B # Voice and Performance and Coach Blair’s Voice and Performance Studio. Blair has coached recording artists, beauty pageant contestants, show choir and musical theater students.
At 16 years old, Blair Clark started singing professionally and performing throughout Europe and the United States. Later, Blair Clark joined the U.S. Army where he sang in the Special Services. After his term in the Army, he continued traveling and performing with various bands. During his career, Blair has recorded 2 albums, written over 36 original songs and studied under world-renowned vocal coaches, Seth Riggs and Ron Browning. Blair has had the privilege of working with Grammy award winner/producer Narada Michael Walden, BMI ® award winner Preston Glass, New Orleans jazz legend Henry Butler and Kerry Gordy, to name a few. He enjoys both performing and coaching equally and is honored to have the chance to take the future generations of performers to the next stage!
Blair Clark's passion for music is only surpassed by his passion for community. In memory of his late sister, LaNiece Clark, he started a non-profit organization, Friends Helping Friends, Inc., serving individuals, families and organizations in need of aid, hope and healing and is committed to providing top pay to quality musicians while allowing organizations to keep their profit to best serve those in need.

Marrialle Sellars

Marrialle Sellars is an in Indianapolis native who has been performing since she was 11 years old. Marrialle finished in the Top 20 of American Idol Season 13. She is a dynamic performer with an unforgettable voice that captures audiences locally and nationwide.
Marrialle has been teaching vocals and guitar for several years and has experience in child care. Her latest album can be found on Spotify and Pandora with original music videos on YouTube.
Magda Gartner

Magda completed both Undergraduate and Graduate degrees in Piano Performance &
Pedagogy at the Mozarteum Salzburg, Austria after which she performed and worked all over
Europe in chamber groups as well as with Opera soloists/opera companies. Through her work
as a pianist in the Opera world she became obsessed with singing and began to study VOICE.
She has both accompanied and studied with many of the best voice teachers of our time,
(Marlena Malas, Arthur Levy, Amy Burton, Sophie Koch, Cornelia Prestel, Horiana Branisteanu,
to mention a few). Schools like the Royal College of Music, London, Mannes School of
Music, New York City, and masterclasses world wide were part of my vocal training. Her
operatic career has led her to sing with New York City Opera, Opera Carolina, Opera Seattle,
Odyssey Opera Boston, Opera Grand Rapids, Kentucky Opera, The Martina Arroyo
Foundation NYC, besides others. As the pandemic took over she had 2 years of contracted
performances cancelled, leaving her to explore other sides of life and my potential.
Having taught piano and voice since adolescence, she discovered an even deeper passion & love for
teaching and has been very nourished the past years as she works with more and more
students of all ages and abilities. In spite of over 20 years of formal training, along with an international performing career, Magda’s first love as a child was “popular music”. Unlike many classical teachers and
performers, Magda loves popular music and is equally at home in all genres. Due to her
training there isn’t a song that she can not hear and play within a minute. If you have sheet
music she is happy to play or accompany you on the spot, or if it is just a recording or video, she
will listen and teach you the song immediately.
Exploring one’s unique sound, be it on the piano or voice, is one of the most rewarding and
exciting things in life, and I look forward to the opportunity to share in your journey. - Magda!
Erika Thomas
Keys/Piano (Beginner)
Erika M. Thomas is a Vocal Performance and Opera Studies major with a minor in Piano from Youngstown State University, Dana School of Music. She has been teaching holistically both contracted and private lessons for a combined 30 years focusing in both vocal and piano performance and technique. Erika's bachelor's degree emphasis is language, vocal pedagogy, and diction coaching. She has also seasoned experience with recording, composition, public relations as well as repertoire and portfolio building. Erika has learned much and been able to share her experiences from managing her own musical project and trio, Littlevoice, for nearly ten years releasing two full length recordings.

Aamir Rahman, a 23 year old guitarist from Denver, CO, has been playing guitar since he was 6 years old.
He is a student at Purdue University.
